I am also very excited about to hear about this release. Love watching this film and "The Long Riders" as a double bill.
The scene with the great Brion James atop the trestle bridge is worth the price of admission alone!

Ahhh....just watched this after not seeing it for a couple of years. One of my favorites! I have a VERY nice HD cable cap from "back in the day". I'm sure the Blu Ray will be MUCH better. Can't wait!

Yes(!), they wisely chose to keep the original key art.

Though, they removed the "Not since Deliverance..." copy from the top of the poster, which I guess I can understand.
