I don't see a reason why this is a big deal.

I'm sorry it takes so long to load. I guess its one of the "older" players, by blu-ray player standards. I guess I was lucky to pick a PS3 as my first BD player, but that's still no excuse. That does suck and I would be pissed off too. :-(

I have no problem with my BDP-S1 takes about a minute, but who cares? I don't. Love the Player 100 times better then the junk Tosh players

Have those of you with problems updated your S1's to the just released 3.10 firmware? I think that speeds up loading of the new Fox titles.

I have the S300 and it takes about a minute and 20 secs. to load up. Have absolutely no problems here whatsoever. My colleague's player however takes slightly longer. He also has a S300. I am not quite so sure how two players of the same model, with the same latest firmware update, could have different loading times but most certainly his machine takes longer.

My friend and I are very competitive. If mine loaded faster than his, he would go out and trade his in.
