Why in the hell don't they leave these classics movies alone! A Christmas Story didn't need a sequel. I know it's not going to be near as good as the original, so I'm going to pretend it doesn't exist.

Christ Hollywood, here's a better one for you... A Black Christmas Story where Billy strodes through the house killing all the original characters with a red ryder bb gun to the face.

I would have liked this if Peter Billingsley played an older Ralphie with his own family. But this looks like an abomination of horrible proportions.

That's exactly how I would've envisioned a sequel. A grown up Ralphie with his own family

I'm not even a fan of "A Christmas Story", but when I read this title, I thought, "Seriously? This is all they could come up with?!" Its very sad, to put it mildly.

What's the big deal? It isn't a shock to anyone that they are making yet another crappy sequel to a classic film... This is just like Christmas Vacation 2 all over again!

It's not. I happened upon the set during production while shopping with my girlfriend one day here in Vancouver. They turned half a floor of The Bay into a Christmas shopping centre from the 50s/60s. We were literally 30 feet from the actors filming their scenes and about 10 or 15 feet from the cameras. We were actually watching playback on the monitors over the directors shoulder.

It's real alright!

WB should of taken the money that it cost to make this and completely restored A Christmas Story. It is their most beloved movie next to The Wizard of Oz

I find it kind of funny that Daniel Stern is in it, seeing as he spent six years doing voice-overs on a TV show that pretty obviously had A Christmas Story in mind when it was conceived. The Wonder Years was basically just A Christmas Story, except set in the '60s.

I'm probably in the minority on this one but the first one was bloody awful so there's no need for this schlock.

I'm probably in the minority too, but I'll buy it because I'm too curious about it.

I never saw "My Summer Story" the 1997 sequel, nor the prequel or the other sequels, but I like Christmas movies!

Hated Christmas vacation 2, probably because it was set on atropical island (and yeah, it was bad!)
