Thought this might help newbys to high quality music such as myself get a better idea of what is available. I'll start with my favorite 10 and put them in order of preference to me and include format.
1. Pink Floyd: Wish You Were Here, BDA 5.1, 4.0 2. Rush: Farewell To Kings, DVD-A 5.1 3. Pink Floyd: Dark Side Of The Moon, SACD 5.1 4. Rush: Moving Pictures, BDA 5.1 5. Dire Straits: Brothers In Arms SACD 5.1 6. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers: Damn The Torpedoes, BDA 5.1 7. AC/DC: Back In Black, Dual Disk 2.0 8. Eric Clapton: Slowhand, SACD 5.1 9. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers: Live Anthology, BDA 5.1 (62 songs!) 10.King Crimson: Discipline, DVD-A 5.1 Obviously I'm a big fan of older rock. I've ranked these by a combination of sound quality and personal enjoyment of the music itself. IMO a perfect sound mix doesn't matter much if I don't like the music.
