The new Die Hard collection has an easily-trashed bilingual paper slip. Underneath it's all English. Yippee-ki-yay, mother******!

Good idea! The regular artwork is very lame anyway.

The horror. I'm very disappointed they would bother with the Mi4K titles. I thought they would remain import only.

In France they do not translate the title.
They just write it upside-down, LOL

I picked up a BD/DVD/UV combo pack at Future Shop on Sunday. On both the slipcover and case, it was listed as remastered with new special features. It was actually the 2006 disc repackaged. To answer your question, this release only has french text on the back.

Thumbs down French language tracks

Aside from just the packaging in French, has anyone noticed how many times a DVD/Blu-ray says "Dubbed in Quebec?"

it's simple, because the dubbing comes from Canada and not France... there's a difference you know... actually you don't know...

And of course, a thumbs down to teh french language track, but not for spanish or portugese or any other foreign language, only french, always french like it is a world class disease. I can understand that as English speaking people you can't stand that your package contains french, but what does it change if the movie contains another language on it.

They don't need to change the title of the film. I wouldn't expect them to do that to a French film. Nor do they do that in France to English films.

I don't like foreign laguages on my Blu-rays but it's never stopped me from making a purchase. It's just annoying clutter that we don't need.

For those interested, You're Next has minimal French on it.

On the front cover, it has the translated title in tiny letters under the actual title, then on the back, the synopsis is in French as is one critic's blurb.

Strangely enough, pull off the slipcover, and everything's the same but no French blurb, just the synopsis.

^ You can get the FS steelbook, but it has no titles on the spine. Oddly just a plain red spine, no words at all!

^ No.

But we're talking about collectible packaging here, and marking it up defeats the purpose.
