I purchased a DVD set from VideoAsia called Thug City Chronicles Vol. 1, among the titles was (1978) Blind Rage. Probably the best example of how to not make a 70s exploitation movie but somehow it just works as so lol-bad you just can't stop watching until the end. There are some decent features on the set and it's worth a look if you can find a copy for around $8 as I did.

I bought "The Long Kiss Goodnight" a few weeks ago, and though it has some good moments, I doubt I'll watch it again. Geena Davis did a great job with the character, but its still not my type of movie.

I just got Halloween 5 mainly to be a completist. It is a major step down down from Halloween 4. Completist or not I still refuse to buy Halloween: Resurrection . To me the series ended with H20.

Want to sell Gremlins 2 or trade?

Yikes! I think Dogma is Kevin Smith's best film. I understand the uber-fanboy/too-clever/snarky dialogue may put some people off, though.

I just bought The Box for 5.95. I hope it plays even better on second viewing.

I would not say Tin Tin was crap, but me and my wife did not enjoy it...

Funnily enough, I didn't think to show the kids. I copied the digital version to the PC as I always do, and my six year old stumbled across it... and loved it! He's watched it so many times now, that it definitely was a good purchase.

Sanctum didn't go down so well last year...

You didn't like Romeo Must Die? I thought it was pretty good.

Geena Davis kicked a** in The Long Kiss Goodnight. This is one of her best performances.

Most recent one I got was "Spawn." I knew what I was getting myself into, so I won't complain. If anything, the Blu-Ray is gorgeous and makes the film more bearable to watch.

Also got "Satan's Little Helper" from the thrift shop for all of $2 on DVD. It didn't do much for me, so I'll probably give it back to them.

I may get some flack for this one....Hugo. I just thought it was so, so boring.
