Now, I have just done some testing and with my Pioneer BDP-LX52 decoding within the player and sending PCM to my Pioneer VSX-921 receiver, with Clash of the Titans, Max Payne and Baraka, all with 5.1 DTS-HD MA tracks, my receiver is displaying 8 channels, with Transformers 5.1 TrueHD track its displaying the correct 6 channels. I haven't tested any more titles. My player is running the latest firmware, my receiver cannot be updated, could this be an issue with DTS-HD MA? Could anyone else try this out?
Btw, I do decode within the player so that I can make use of PQLS, and with only running a 2 channel setup at this time, I cannot fully test this situation. Last edited by Tech-UK; 09-18-2012 at 08:46 PM. |
