On the price range it's a compromise between music and movies and we know that instruments wont dig that deep unless it's a old pipe organ in a church with very low octaves , but under $200 it beats for sure the Polk ( that one i had my ears on it and found it just lacking everywhere ) but the BIC for sure would't be in my buy list in Canada since with shipping and taxes truth amazon.ca cost's the same as the 2 new models of SVS .

He is using the TSi 400 same as i do and that sub will give him just the bit of edge lacking on the 400's for sure on the HT side it will preform well with .. another sub . Most of our local electronic stores have the entry level Polk's and they were pricey and hearing them several times didn't cut it .

Yeah I definitely don't want to end up with a one note sub, that's part of the reason i want to replace this old Sony one. Now would two really make a difference... I seen a lot of people with SVS subs so those must be really good, and I see you have Klipsch, that's one brand I really like and i almost went Klipsch on my towers but I found a great deal on these polk so i went with them (also they were cherry )
