annoying as ever. thaat is toshiba's thing. using walt disney for HD DVD is not acceptable.

Damn. Isn't this kind of thing illegal? That's some serious BS there. Someone should try contacting them or something. And while it's good to see some blu-ray ads on tv, I think Sony should do more to show off the advantages of the format in comparison to HD-DED like CE and studio support, technical specs. All that jazz.

It's not illegal, because nothing on there is demonstrably false

Can you play those movies on it? Yes....on DVD. Even more so they are discussing it in the context of future HD purchases, and playing your DVDs now

And it's true that you'll never have to upgrade...just that you'll need to buy a BLu-Ray player
