It will be interesting to see the animation style for this one if it's based on Geoff Johns Brainiac. Gary Frank used Christopher Reeve as the look for Superman in his work and it would awesome to see an animated Reeve style Superman in this film.

Reeve style should be left alone. It didn't work for superman returns. Best to look into the future and not the past.

I took a survey from Warner a little while back asking me to pick a cover for this release. None of them looked all that good though :/

Started out with one of Superman fighting...something with his laser vision, which apparently didn't get many votes, so now they're down to various variations on the S shield in space chained by....Doc Ock steel tentacle-thingies.

, so I tend to vote for something that actually tells me what the darn thing's about. There was one with Brain's looming face behind the S-shield-in-space-w/tentacles, but it doesn't help.)

The whole fact it was an unwanted sequel to the Donner films. The fact they hired a guy who look like Reeves. I say don't draw superman like Reeves. That's in the past.

Warner's A-List Community (basically a corporate sponsored fan-forum with occasional surveys) should still be up at the Warner.com website, try there.
Going by historical precedent, they'll likely ask us about three more times.

although...you have to give Superman Will Smiths catchphrase from ID4? really...REALLY.

if superman beats braniac by giving him a "computer virus" im gonna be pissed

John Noble as Brainiac is brilliant casting. And interesting that Matt Bomer is now playing Superman since he was pretty high on the list of contenders several years ago.

Superman: Unbound will likely be the last DC animation feature to fully use the classic Superman costume.

I imagine future projects will start using the new 52 outfit by Jim Lee, unless it's a retro-project set in the distant past. This likely applies to all the heroes across the board, particularly after the Flashpoint feature.
