can the audio with the movie AND the special features play in English as well ?

Special features are rarely dubbed. The chances are good, that they are just subtitled.

Wow that is a truly beautiful cover. The cover makes it worth buying alone. To bad its not indicative how suckish a movie it truly is. You see the cover you like hot damn....watch the movie not so much.

So I take it this box set will have the extras the U.K version is lacking? I don't understand why Lionsgate had to cheap out on the British disc.

Who the hell do they think they are... Warner Home Video circa 1999?

After reading the specs again it almost seems like the package IS the frame.
That would be another disappointment.

Can someone proof me wrong?

Also the "last supper" image that this is mimicking is a painting...not the bible. Its not sacriligious to mock a painting. No. The similar Iron Sky release proving you right:
There is a Paper on the Backside and top and bottom front containing the specs, logos and additional writing (except the Movie title). The BD was inside a normal BD Package nested in the backside of the Frame.

Exactly, only this time they seem to put the cool steelbook within instead of a normal case. Maybe because the steelbook fpr Expendables 2 is not Media Markt exclusive this time.

Personal I am more interested in the Hero Pack With a bigger Last supper picture as a fabric Banner with the size 119 x 61 cm (the framed picture from the ultimate is only listed with 30 x 60 cm.) The Hero Pack has a magnetic lentricular Stallone Picture at the steelbook front, 12 Charactere Cards and a sticker.

I am happy to help.

The 2013 calendar with the ultimate expensive Edition may be nice, but it is not that big with 30x37 cm, also I think that the character cards have more personal long time value than a calendar.

If I would live in the Netherlands, I would go for the Special Combopack avaible there.

Amazon says it is 60 cm wide and 30 cm height, so it would be in inces:
