JMK - The LD is the full version like the VHS. You can get it on ebay pretty cheap if you want the full film at it's best possible quality.

I don't want the Hitchcock set, but do want "Rear Window," "Vertigo" and "The Birds." Where are the standalone releases?

Edit: And where is the standalone release of "Raiders of the Lost Ark?"

Because the other two episodes are coming in 3D next year... THEN they will release them. They're not going to announce 3DBD releases more than a year early, and well before they even hit theaters.

I hate that I have to keep my laserdisc edition of ERIK THE VIKING, because the only thing on DVD is the "Director's Son's Cut" which is like a half hour SHORTER than the theatrical, is choppy as hell, ruined the pacing of the story and all the jokes, and is an all-around pile of SH!T. (and of course it's not on blu)

Also, THE PAPER is also not on BD, and the DVD is Pan & Scan only, so I have to hold onto that on LD as well!

You still owe for that Simpsons season 6 box you never sent me! Don't think I forgot about that.

Sony - you are still dead to me. As much as I want to see MIB3 and the new Resident Evil animated flick, I'm waiting for used copies to show up at a pawn shop or record store. 2 sales lost so far, maybe more as I was tempted to get some other cheap discs until seeing your logo on back. Hope you feel that shit soon.

Wal-Mart sucks so bad here. 2 stores visited, not 1 Bat-cowl seen. One store didn't even get any, no spot on the rack and I asked and was told they got none.

To end on a happy note,very glad I grabbed White Men Can't Jump from Wally as I haven't seen another copy since. Plus the film held up better than I thought, enjoyed it far more than the dvd viewing a few years ago.

Doesn't Sony make money off every Blu-ray sold regardless of the Studio? And why the Sony hate anyway?

Actually, you'll still have to depend on Fox, who still hold the distribution rights to Star Wars I - VI. Disney distributes only moving forward.

And I can really use that True Lies blu-ray right about now.

I don't really hate anything....it's a strong word...BUT...I do dislike people who complain all the time and never do anything about it.

As far as Blu-ray goes....I dislike Universal for screwing up Tremors. I dislike Anchor Bay for being a shell of their former selves. etc....

def want a marnie standalone release...plus that nightmare box set is horrendous looking but oh so cheap and tempting... i hate how disney movies are so over priced
