Thumbs up Blu-ray-aholics

Please don't lock this necro thread. The forum pointed it out as a "similar thread", just so happens it was mine.

Ok, so it's been about 3 years. How many blu-ray-aholics do we have?

I'm just a casual recreational user of BluRay...I can quit any time...it's not like I'm losing a job or house to it's enticing benefits...

Sure! I'll join!

Member since 2005!? How? What did this site look like back then? Can't imagine there were a lot of members!

Is there already a forum somewhere about the next format I need to join?

Member since Auguest 2004, actually. Would have been sooner but I "lurked" on and off for a few months.

The place has changed little except for some cosmetic appeal. Only a handful of us at the time and I appear to be one of the last of that "era" who still posts.

A number of the ideas I posted here back then became a reality. I really tend to believe that some corporate people are old members of my era. Seems like they got the product off the ground and simply stopped posting.

But it was fun to help mold the future of HD home video.
