Judging from previous Dreamworks releases it will most likely be in the TrueHD format. Madagascar 3 was their last release if I remember correctly and that movie was in 7.1 TrueHD

I was thinking this might get the Auro3D 9.1 soundtrack. This is after all the first big release in Auro3D 11.1 in cinemas after Red Tails.

Gonna blind buy this for my kids. The hopping eggs edition price is decent.

Why is this movie not getting much attention?

I went to Walmart today and they're having a pre-purchase but I don't remember if it said anything about exclusives, if it did it's probably vudu

Man, is this ever an underrated release. I know it didn't set the box office on fire, but its a great little flick that should make a top shelf blu. Can we at least get the only thread title going changed to reflect THE RELEASE DATE?

That is one of my 6-year-old daughter's favorite movies ever. So it sounds like this should be a family hit.

This not being nominated for BEST ANIMATED FEATURE was my single biggest frustration with the Oscar noms.

Agree. One of my favorite movies from last year and one of my favorite animated films!

Dreamworks probably has to re-brand themselves. Not saying their films are bad, but they have to stop giving people the impression that all their animated features rely on gags and parodies to entertain their audience, when they are fully capable of telling a good story, with bits of comedy in it. There's a difference between the two.
Good films like Kung Fu Panda and Rise of the Guardians is giving off this vibe in their trailers and marketing. And that's undoing the hard work being put into the genuinely good films.

I am getting the hopping eggs version next week. I am surprised few people seem to be looking forward to it.

I canceled my pre-order because I have too many other BDs coming next week. I'm hoping this drops to $19.99 as quickly as Madagascar 3D dropped last year.
