Also i think it is a half ass try to get the masses to buy into a failing format, Toshiba and MS were made for each other.

I buy 95% of my Blu-rays form Amazon. So they saw it fit to send me the link for this contest. I entered it, and I hope I win. I'll immediately turn around and re-sell it on Amazon Marketplace and use the money to buy either more Blu-rays or PS3 games. It would prbably fund the majority of the titles I want for the rest of the year!

if i win i would just trade it in where i work so i can get store credit at my store for it

As a fan of the 360 (no rings of death yet, and I have a first-day console), I know I know but let's not start in on me, I am EMBARRASSED by this monstrosity. OK, I will admit, the LE Halo 360 was a pretty cool idea. I mean, it's pretty much the only reason to own a 360 over a PS3 (not that there aren't other great games for 360, this is just my personal preference), and one of the most popular console games in recent history. But a custom console based on a TV show? Sad...

EDIT: I just had to add this: What's next? A Toshiba DUD player with a Monopoly theme?

it just looks like they have a custom faceplate and slapped some stickers on the boxes... you can obviously see the white underneith... half assed

While this system is as ugly as sin, I entered the sweepstakes. I love Heroes, and wouldn't mind winning it to watch in HD. I would never spend good money on crappy HD-DVDs, but hey, if I win it, I'll watch it. I also wanna play mass effect on Xbox...

" overenthuiastic desperation of HD thinking they finally have a "killer-app" title to market their format with?

(We would normally be expecting "Transformers" in our face, but...
And no word on what happens once they think Shrek 3 will "sell the format".)
