Actually, from what I've read, they're filming now and he's still adding to the cast.

From what is known of the plot, we know that there are two love triangles, which would suggest that the top six on the list (Bale, Gosling, Fassbender, Portman, Blanchett, and Mara) will all be featured prominently. That's enough for me to watch for sure, anyone else will be icing on the cake.

This summer's line-up:

Looking at the list I cannot see any one film breaking the box-office bank. Each one should at least makes it's budget back. I've added my thoughts to each.

300: Rise of an Empire - tough call on this one, but 300 is beloved so this on better not suck!

Despicable Me 2 - first one was a hit, this one should be a nice equal.

Disney-Pixar's Monsters University - Pixar's first prequel. Should do well.

Fast & Furious 6 - Vin vs The Rock round II - Should be fun and worthwhile.

Grown Ups 2 - Sandler's first sequel. He needs a hit, but I don't think it's this.

Iron Man 3 - Perhaps this one will finish out the summer at # 2

Kick-Ass 2 - if it's as fun & cool as #1, then a sleeper hit could be had.

Lone Ranger - Looks like Depp will scene steal this one and the bank to go with it. However this one could hi-ho silver away...quick.

Man of Steel - Biggest gamble movie of the summer. The audience must leave Christopher Reeves memory alive, but his Superman is long gone. Routh was good. But Henry looks like he can deliever. Plus Zack Snyder has good directing chops!

Pacific Rim - The trailer looks great. Should be a blast to see this on the big sceen!

Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters - first one was fine, but like Narnia is the audience there for a 2nd go round.

Red 2 - first one was oddly goofy but entertaining. Two should balance it out.

Robocop (2013) - another gamble. 1987's is a classic! We shall all go in with an open mind and be viewer cautious.

The Smurfs 2 - Now if all the smurfs gang bang smurfette....HIT!

Star Trek Into Darkness - if this one is trying to be like Wrath of Kahn, we can expect some sort of cliffhanger ending leaving us to wonder who is being searched for is Trek 3.

The Wolverine
World War Z

20. Identity Thief - Big comedy fan, and Seth Gordon directing as well as a producer of Ted? This has to be good.

19. Oz: The Great and Powerful - Looks like Alice in Wonderland visually, I'm excited to see what they do with it.

18. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire - Liked the first one a lot I just hope there's less shaky cam in this one.

17. Warm Bodies - Jonathan Levine directing what looks like a really unique and different take on a romantic comedy.

16. Elysium - The follow up to District 9, can't wait.

15. Gangster Squad - I've been waiting for this since it was supposed to come out in September, and it looks awesome, so hopefully my expectations aren't too high by now.

14. The Place Beyond the Pines - Heard great things about this and has a great cast, was only a casual fan of Blue Valentine though.

13. Monsters University - Don't really know what to think of this, but the first was terrific, although I don't expect Toy Story 3 level greatness.

12. The Great Gatsby - Just read this in school and since I'm a high schooler I found it pretty boring haha, but I can definitley see Leo as Gatsby and because I read the book it actually makes me excited.

11. World War Z - The trailer didn't really sell me, but it just sounds good, and Brad Pitt is usually always in great roles so hopefully it'll be as cool as it sounds.

10. Oblivion - Tom Cruise and Morgan Freeman, two actors that always push themselves in their roles. Can't wait.

9. The Hangover Part III - This would be even higher on my list had the sequel not sucked ass, but since I'm such a big fan of the first and apparently they're not doing the same thing again, I'm pumped.

8. Man of Steel - Not a big Zack Snyder fan but with Chris Nolan producing his Batman vision should stick.

7. This is the End - I already thought this was gonna be great, but the trailer was so damn funny. Big fan of everyone involved.

6. Insidious Chapter 2 - Idon't know what the hell they're gonna do with this, but I'm excited, though skeptical.

5. Anchorman: The Legend Continues - It's been 9 years since the first so they should have plenty of hilarious ideas for the film, can't wait.

4. Pacific Rim - When I first heard about this I was pumped, and the trailer looks epic. Guillermo Del Toro is a big reason as to why this movie will sell.

3. Paranormal Activity 5 - I know most people hate this shit but I'm a DIE-HARD fan of the series, I honestly love all of them and I can't wait for the newest chapter.

2. Iron Man 3 - Everyone seemed to hate Iron Man 2 but I liked it more than the first, and The Avengers definitley got me even more excited to see Iron Man back in action

1. Kick-Ass 2 - LOVED Kick-ass, such an epic movie in so many ways, I really hope Jeff Wadlow doesn't screw this up I'm counting down the days for this.

Don't feel bad. I thought it was boring thirty years ago in high school and I still thought it was boring when I read it again last summer.

Well, maybe not boring exactly but I still don't really see what all the fuss is about.

I'm not sure what will end up being more telling about Gangster Squad, the awful title or the January release.
