Gene Wilder films. Blazing Saddles, Willy Wonka, Young Frankenstein, Stir Crazy...doesn't matter he always puts a smile on my face.

Otherwise, cartoons.

I agree, especially if I'm feverish. Any action or sci-fi films just is not relaxing when I'm feverish. Something like the Chevy Chase Vacation movies, Groundhog Day or Coming to America are like the perfect films to watch when feverish.

If I just have a cold, anything is fine to watch.

Best wishes to all the sick people in this thread.

I had the cold/flu last weekend, and watched Enter The Dragon, Flash Gordon, Assault on Precinct 13, Days Of Heaven, and several others. I'm well now, so these Blu-rays worked.

True Romance

In general something with a strong sense of melancholy and or romance. I want to be lifted somewhere nostalgic or emotionally potent.

I'm in the middle of being sick myself - cold, flu, whatever it is - but it's a good time to rewatch recent theatrical films, for some reason I focus more when I'm watching a movie while sick. Currently enjoying Prometheus for the third time. And getting sick during the Winter months is a good time to watch creepy horror movies - might watch Dark Night of the Scarecrow later.

When I'm sick, for some reason, I always watch the movie Pleasantville. A few years ago, I extremely ill and I watched it a few times for no apparent reason. I also enjoy watching Muppet movies and Disney films.
