It would be for us..but since we switched to Mac's anyway it's a moot point in our house.

It's more the combination of things that just a single issue IMO - that doesn't bode well. Expensive video upgrades exceeding console pricing, driver compatibility hassles etc ... console simplicity will continue to eat into the PC Game market I believe...it's not going away however.

Interesting as I would say it gives more control over being easier .. keyboard complexity is what drove me to consoles..but different strokes and all that...of course you can hook up a keyboard and mouse to your PS3 anyway.

Or you can use specialized controllers like FragFX from splitfish.

This is the first FPS game that I'm looking forward to almost as much as the big games like MGS4.

Edit: I'm getting the PS3 version since my PC can't even start the demo. :P

PC here. I can't play FPS on consoles. I don't see how people do it, but I guess its what you are used to.

I'm getting it on the PS3. Once you get used to the controls, it'll look WAY better on my 60" screen with 5.1 surround sound. Plus, only the PS3 version comes on blu-ray disc! :-)

I'm hoping that the PS3 version is as good as the early reports imply, if so then I will definately pick it up. If the Xbox360 version is better I'll get it for that system but I'll be pissed!

No this won't be a port. They had developers working on both versions seperately to optimize both systems.

Any clans starting up here for COD4? I'd like to be involved but haven't gotten a headset yet, but will soonish especially if that's what you others will be using. As mentioned earlier, I haven't done an FPS on a console in ages so hopefully I'll be able to adjust to it. I was thinking of getting a keyboard mouse setup for my PS but I have a feeling the game won't have a setup for such a thing and I'm not sure how it would behave since it's geared to the sixaxis. Can I get a little feedback from you folks and tell me if using a console controller isn't all that difficult in this type of game? I'm pretty psyched about getting this and getting back into a clan again. I'm 36 (37 in Feb) so not to worry about me being an obnoxious kid or anything. '

Ok...feedback please....assuage my fears...

i have this game reserved at gamestop, but i think im going to return it, i read the single player campaign is around 6 hours.....even shorter than heavenly sword..... Im not an online fanatic either so, i dunno. unless i can find some fun people to play online with..... im on the fence.

I've got it on pre-order as well for the PS3. I do prefer PC for FPS games, but I don't really want to upgrade my PC yet (especially when there's a PS3 option).

Ill have to wait for reviews. With only a 7 hour campaign it falls into the category of games I wouldnt buy. Once again companies apparently cant make a decent enough sp game cuz they have to concentrate on mp. Thank you insomniac for getting a good SP game out there. Maybe Soldier of Fortune will be better!

OK guys, the good news seems to be no matter how short this game APPEARS, it will be the best 7-10 hours, Why? i hear you say, this game just hit a perfect score of 10 in OPM, and looks set to take game of the year

Graphics will be equal to 360 if not better on the PS3, as for the Keyboard, Mouse thing, each to his own. To me, PC gaming doesn't come close because A) i hate playing games with a Keyboard & Mouse and B) i don't get to usually play on such a big screen & C) i don' think i could get the same HD visuals from a £600 comp i made cause the graphics card and processor equivalent would cost more than PS3 & did i mention i hate running into compatibility issues
