Tip. For best results do NOT reuse the sticky glu/tape when reapplying the spine, even if it comes out relatively unscathed. I found that it goes opaque when exposed to air and tiny air bubbles form. Always use new Stix2 tape with each application.

Thanks for the tutorial OP. I think I'll try and replace my Beowulf DVD Steelbook spine as I was unfortunate to get one which was a bit wonky...

Thanks for the video OP, very helpful. I would be afraid of leveraging to knife to pop out the plastic would bend the steel.

Also, to anyone looking at that tape who lives in the us,
I'm pretty sure Michael's Arts and Crafts has it. I work there and I know we sell tape that looks exactly like that in 6mm. The brand should be Recollections and its in the scrap booking adhesives area.
