I mean you're looking at a 1.6 BILLION franchise. And that doesn't count all the money from the DVD/Blu sales which were also a few hundred million more in total dollars. I'm sure the 6th one will EASILY pass $300 million worldwide especially as all the cast is back yet again.
SSSSSSHHHHH Don't you know the fast and furious movies. Have absolutely no story. Its all just explosions and car chases nothing else. You should keep those thoughts to yourself you'll get bashed say things like that around here.

Maybe for you, but not for me. I have just as much fun whether I am spoiled or not, because my fun isn't dependant upon me being in the dark about everything. And films are not that fragile. If they were then repeated viewings would be out of the question.

Only if the film isin't worth watching.

You can argue you don't mind it, but you can't argue you are doing the creators a favor by doing so.

I agree!

They would be disposable. One viewing and that would be it. Where's the fun in that? In fact, in my opinion, I believe that a film has more merit the higher its replay value is.

That's how I like my movies.

Was that necessary? I don't go in for name calling and dismissive statements. If you want to have a friendly back and forth (as I believed Cook an I were doing) that's one thing but you're throwing out names in place of any real thought.

*snort, if people don't want the plot to be spoiled don't go into a discussion thread about the movie, wait till it comes out. sheesh, seems like logic has gone out of style these days

I wanted it to be spoiled. I read it with this in mind. It was after reading it that I started to regret it.

How do the movies fit chronological again? I believe it is:

Order by date made:
The Fast and the Furious (2001)
2 Fast 2 Furious (2003)
The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006)
Fast & Furious (2009)
Fast Five (2011)
Fast and Furious 6 (2013)
FF7 (2014?)

Order by story:
The Fast and the Furious (2001)
2 Fast 2 Furious (2003)
Fast & Furious (2009)
Fast Five (2011)
The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006)
Fast and Furious 6 (2013)
FF7 (2014?)

True about the placement of 6 and tokyo drift. They could actually almost take place at the same time.

yeah, I almost mentioned that but it's not clear if they're completely linear at that point. but pretty darn close at least

The only part that would make that hard is when
[Show spoiler]Diesel appears at the end of Tokyo Drift

Unless they work that scene into FF7 by having Toretto recruiting Lucas Black's character, which would be weird by now, as Black has aged like 15 years in the past 7 years since Tokyo Drift came out.

But I think something like that could be fun. I liked the characters in Tokyo Drift and it would be fun not only to merge the timelines, but also to put the Tokyo Drift characters to further use in the 7th movie. I would like to see them sharing screen time with Toretto, Brian, Mia and Letty.

They could easily mention Lucas Blacks character without even having him in the movie.

For the love of god, though no more Bow, Wow.

2 was terrible. The only thing it really has going for it is that it introduces Ludacris & Tyrese's characters.

Oh, and Eva Mendez

I actually can see 2 being skipped easily, and just go 1,4,5,6,3,7 or 6,7,3

And for those questioning the order 6 cannot take place at the same time of as 3 if Han is in both films 3 logically has to take place after 6 and depending what they do with 6 potentially even after 7.
