The Raid shouldn't even be near such list, let alone between Casino Royale and Kill Bill!
I also feel that Raiders of the Lost Ark, while being an all-time classic, is kinda out of place there. It's more of an adventure film, rather than action. It should be on a list of its own. The same can be said about The Avengers as well. To a lesser extent though. While it is obviously an action movie, it does not have a lot in common with other movies on the list.

This is hard to argue with this, but they couldn't put Lethal Weapon 1, 2, and 4 on the same list.

This is exactly my problem. You open up too many of the comic book movies. Iron Man 2 and The Dark Knight deserve to be on the list, but you can't just fit a bunch of comic book movies here. Save that for the Top 25 Comic Book Films.

As much as I like Robocop and The Rock, I would substitute them with Gladiator and Braveheart, even though they both border the line for the action genre. If one comic book type movie is in the top 25, then I would substitute The Avengers with The Dark Knight.

As far as ordering is concerned, I feel Predator and Casino Royale are too low. I think a valid argument can be made for Predator to be #1. I guess John McTiernan was a pretty good action director with Predator and Die Hard.

This is an awful list! Avengers has no business being on the list. Same goes for Point Break, Top Gun and a few others. How can you have a top 25 without Terminator, Commando, Rambo, Die Hard 3, Total Recall, Cobra. Not one Seagal or Van Damme movie! But 3 Keanue Reeves movies! lol. Way to many newer movies on this list.

I'm not really sure exactly WHAT qualifies as an "action movie", but excluding Heat, with its bank heist scene, and Mission: Impossible 3 & 4 for some incredible action set pieces I find baffling. I also think Man On Fire and Minority Report should find themselves on the list, and IMO T2 should have been number one. On the whole though, quite a solid list and most of the titles are worthy of mention when talking about action.

I personally would take out Point Break and Top Gun. I would also seriously consider removing The Rock, The Avengers (even though I love it), and I would move True Lies a little bit lower down the list. I've never seen Where Eagles Dare, so I don't really have an opinion on that one, except that it's status as an action film doesn't even come close to some of titles that didn't make the list. I can't believe they excluded The Hunt For Red October (part of the McTiernan Peak Trilogy!), Goldfinger, or The Terminator. Arguments could also be made for Gladiator, Braveheart, Saving Private Ryan, The Untouchables, and The Dark Knight. But what's a list if you're going to agree with everything on it?

Not even one RAMBO movie in the top 25 makes this list a worthless joke!

Minority Report should have been included on the list. I was thinking of the Mission Impossible series too, but I forgot to write it down before. It appears they only included one movie from a series on their list, so going with that idea, I would have to include Ghost Protocol.

I agree with Die Hard. The Raid could easily be replaced by many superior films, hell I'd take Ong Bak over it any day.

I wonder if Cliffhanger or Air Force One just missed the cut.

Yea I know, but my "man love" for 2 requires me to demand it's on this list. It's only my favorite movie of all time.

Die Hard is the King of all action movies & deserves the # 1 spot, agree with the rest of your post.
