Such a great movie from my childhood! I suck at life for forgetting about this earlier today.

An early role from Valerie Bertinelli. Respect! I had the biggest childhood crush on her after seeing this movie.

C.H.O.M.P.S. is, hands down, the greatest movie ever made about a robot dog with super strength and X-ray vision who assists local authorities in chasing down criminals. I even used to have the movie novelization when I was kid.

Thanks will look up C.H.O.M.P.S.! and A Dog of Flanders

That's really a nice dog films listing. I didn't realize there were so many available. If I should think of any not already in the listing I'll post them here.

Thanks.

Watched White Fang for the first time last night and enjoyed it I give it a 7 out of 10 must get number 2 some time as well.
Shame its not out on Blu Ray and the DVD sucks but at least I got to see it in HD
I also saw Adventures of Bailey: The Lost Puppy and they seem to be 3 of these.

In Clint Eastwood's Sudden Impact, his Dirty Harry character is accompanied by a bulldog, Meathead. This is not the central plot development of the film by any stretch, but Meathead does save Harry's life at one point. It's amusing that the dog basically the canine equivalent of Dirty Harry, with similar coarse behavior.

Napoleon.

It's an Australian film. That dog belongs to a friend of a friend of mine. And man they loved that dog. We bought a camera from them for film and television in high school, along with some tapes. And these tapes were filled with them just filming the bloody dog. You wouldn't believe how excited they got whenever the dog sat or rolled over for them.

The worse thing was that when they had guests, they would put on these tapes and force the guests to watch them, all the while laughing and talking about the dog. They were pathetic.

Just seen The Dog Who Saved Halloween on some channel called Movies24 found it by searching for doggy films.
An OK watch on a wet day but dough I would watch again any time soon or want to keep the copy.
I gave this a 4 out of 10.
