Thanks for the link Paul.

Good review. The 3D, although average from the description, does the job. Will keep it in mind for the surreal visuals.

Might be worth a look for the visuals, but I don't think I'd be able to get past the premise.

This movie brings to mind The Cell, which also had some very surreal scenery/imagery, and would have looked awesome in strong 3D.

The website says it is 19.59, have you been in the store to confirm that price? I'll scoop this up for 15 dollars.

Boy, I'm sure glad that Amazon said they couldn't cancel this yesterday so that I could re-order the cheaper version, then shipped it today, and that others have gotten this today when I pre-ordered it months ago.

Very strange, since the Blu-ray/Dvd Combo is pictured with the slip.

FYI: The Blu-ray3d + Blu-ray On One Disc! is pictured without a slip at Amazon,
yet it came with a slip.

Yeah, I'd pick it up also at that great price for 3D blu. I think that store might be the exception to most other Target's offering it at 19.99. Sometimes they have the DVD version for that price, but put a blu ray 3D disc in the wrong spot as I've seen. Not sure yet.

Looks like they're price matching Amazon's $14.99 price for the Blu-ray 3D + Blu-ray On One Disc.

Happened to be Target for something else and ended up picking this for $14.99 and watched it yesterday.

The story is awesome and kept your attention from start to end. Visuals are also very creative and one of a kind.

Unfortunately the 3D sucked big time. I am a bug fan of conversions well done but this has such horrible And inconsistent 3d throughout that it ranks 2nd in my list of crappy 3d, the first one is clash of titans.

The movie is made for 3d and is an opportunity lost. Only a select few scenes stand out with great depth but even these you can see bad conversion artifacts almost headache inducing.

But story is so interesting, I did not mind crappy 3d.

Aww, bummed to hear that. I saw this last night at the store for 20 bucks and passed on it pending some reviews on here to come.

You say you noticed a lot of errors in the conversion? Did this look like a stretch job or did they truly render another perspective but didn't clean up very well?

Edit: SBS Trailer:

Still debating whether this is the type of movie that can really benefit from 3D.

The nature of the movie is making it extremely hard for me to identify where 3D layering begins and where environmental 2D reverse law visuals of natural phenomena ends!
Going to have to acclimate myself to the environment theme in 2D first, getting a sense of how things look naturally, then again try to decipher the added 3rd dimension.

Haha Paul I didn't even think about that, you're watching 3 dimensions of an almost mirrored second dimension.

Not a bad idea to watch it in 2d first to understand how everything should look, then going back to try it in 3d with the ideas fresh in your head. In fact if the 3d conversion is not that good, going 2d to 3d may improve your (and my) perception of the conversion.

Thanks for your input. I was debating getting this one ($15 at Target). I still might. The trailer looked good and the visuals look great. Guess I will find out Friday whether or not I pick this up,lol.

I think the movie is pretty good and the depth of the movie is amazing - The romance is a little over the top (not much development IMO) but in all it pans out fine.. It is worth the buy.

Probably watch it in 2D tonight.
