The slow mid point of Cars could definitely use more excitement however. Otherwise, I liked it.

First Cars, Cars 2, then Planes, which looks interesting enough to consider. I won't be surprised to see Boats in the future. Trains might be cool IMO for the scenery along the tracks. But also a Motorcycles movie. I'd pay to see that being a fan.

Half kidding here.

I've been holding off on picking up A Bug's Life and Wall-E on blu-ray because I was hoping Pixar would re-release them as 3D combo packs. I had to get The Incredibles and Ratatouille though. It would be helpful to consumers if they just made an announcement stating whether or not they are planning to re-release the entire Pixar animated film catalog on 3D blu-ray. Of course, that will never happen though because they still want to sell what's already out there.

The Incredible's, A Bug's Life, Wall-E and Ratatouille are the last four left for 3D re-release by Pixar. A Bugs Life and The Incredibles are the oldest of the four and with no Pixar releases in 2014 maybe they might do a small theatrical and 3D Blu-Ray release for one or two of these films.

Tarzan 3D is down for cinema release next year I believe.

The Incredibles is my favorite movie from Pixar, so that is the one I would hope is next on the list for a 3D release.

That site and I've seen it on a few others say that Tarzan was getting released in 3D on its 15th anniversary. That would be in 2014 if Disney were still doing that. Fingers crossed!

And aside from the fact that this is just a rumour someone made up, a 3D remastering and a re-release of a movie Disney has put in the "obscure" bunch is highly unlikely at this time. Needless to say that wikias are only credible when you wish to spread misinformation.

It's not knowing future plans that frustrates. Especially after the Disney tease-surprise when Cars was announced to be released in 3D without warning, and that was after Disney announced they were dropping 3D conversion releases after The Little Mermaid, and they didn't announce that Mermaid's conversion was finished for 3D.

We've known for some time that all of the Pixar catalogue has been re-rendered cause it is relatively easy and Pixar wanted to have these assets. All that we have to do is to wait for BD releases. Totally different situation.

I'm not just saying it's not gonna happen.. I'm saying that it's not gonna happen for a bunch of reasons. And that's realistic.
