there are good deals but you just have to be on the lookout for them and they are few and far in-between
the last good one i have seen is the hobbit 3d wbshop sale where you could get free shipping, then $5 off promotion and if you had a b-day you could get another $5 taken off
but that is one of the few good deals I have seen in a while, other then that, maybe the twilight walmart double pack for $22 on release day but like i said they are few and far in-between

How much was Game of Thrones S2 during release? I planned on getting it from a GoHastings deal like I did S1 but that's not looking promising.

I have facebook but I don't want a BBY app and don't feel like keeping track of something else everyday.

lol exactly. Some of you people here are insanely greedy and expect things for free. There have been incredible sales this year. We already had a U&S at BB and another one is starting in a few weeks. and the Buy $10 at BB and get a $10 gift card going on right now is another incredible deal. Not to mention the Reward Zone points program when it first started earlier this year allowing countless members here to rack up $20+ in giftcards in just a matter of a couple weeks. Best Buy has been on top of their game this year. among many other retailers.

The points are not hard to keep track of...you click a button and spend 1-2 minutes tops a day and get your points. And if you don't have a Facebook, well that is too bad for you also.....the deals were offered to people who wanted to take advantage and for someone to not have a Facebook (Which is not normal in the eyes of business and media) that is simply your loss. Times are changing and companies are doing different things.

long story short: This has been a great year already for blu ray entertainment.

Target had it for 29.99 and AMZ matched. I (and many others) was able to match AMZ for the BBY exclusives (which were $34.99).

The lowest price was $25 (at Fry's I believe).

Are you disregarding all the other deals, because there is one you don't like? And just because you don't want to take part in it, that doesn't make it any less of a deal for the thousands of people that do.

EXACTLY! It is so annoying when people say deals suck just because it does not benefit them directly.

I have been picking up some new movies through Best Buy with the Reward Zone points. I have been buying so many blus that I have set rules for myself that I will not pay more than $15 for a movie (certain exceptions of course). Still waiting for a good deal on Argo. Haven't bought a movie from Amazon in a while as they have not had any good deals. Family video dropped prices for used blus. Usually wait for discount codes for other retailers. Just made purchases with the following codes:

blowitoutahere.com SPRING 15% off
STPATTYSDAY 10% off

Family Video M2PME8UT $5 off $50

and i am not disregarding the deals i just didn't take part in any of them when they were live but i miss the days where you didn't have to have a facebook account, to, get certain coupons/deals, also the reward points from best buy and other special promotions.
It's just like big brother is watching in my point of view
