I can't take all the artworks seriously when they all have that "Comic cartoonish" feel to it. I mean it works for Hellboy II, Incredible Hulk, Shaun of the Dead, Scott Pilgrim etc but I just can't take The Mummy, Serenity or Pitch Black seriously. I can't imagine King Kong or Children of Men if there was one, it'll just look horrendous in comic artwork form.

If most of them had regular artwork it would've been a delight for me. Otherwise, I'll pass.

It seems like US is getting lotta steelbooks lately.

Thanks OP. Just locked in Paul,Shaun of the Dead, Hotfuzz, and The Incredible Hulk. Would pick up Scott pilgrim, but I already have the original red uk steel, and even with the rating logos, I still think it looks better.

these have been available from amazon germany for a while. i prefer the slipcover versions any day.

That is easily one of my most wanted Blu-ray steelbooks. But I missed out. The third-party prices are huge for a used copy. So... I'm planning on going with the new Universal release (along with Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz).
