Would rather there was a Book of the Dead version like the Anchor Bay versions of Evil Dead 1 & 2 (don't think they did one for AoD )

Still waiting for a box set of the original ED trilogy. Imagine that they will do one soon what with the release of the new film...

A boxset would be unlikely in the UK considering that the original is released by Sony and Evil Dead II and AoD are under Optimum.

Would love a book of the dead release, though.

Yea but i do not trust zavi's shipping protection, at least the feedback i get is bad. thats why i want to order it from amazon.uk, ive never had issues with them

Fair enough, If you were in the UK I'd say it was worth the risk (I ordered mine from them and it arrived in perfect condition) but, as you're in the US, you're probably better off waiting until they're at least using their new steelbook packaging for all their steelbook deliveries.

Amazon had it at £9.75 for ages until March 31st so it's likely it will go back down again.

Will def. be picking this up! I'm sure we will be getting something here in the states as well. Probably a Target exclusive or Best Buy Which means a little Double Dip action Just like Django. The steelbook was beautiful but I also had to pick up the DigiPack from best buy.

There is a Book of the Dead version of Army of Darkness available :-) Its the Australian 'Army of Darkness: Necronomicon' edition blu-ray ...it matches the Anchor Bay DVD Books in size and style (i just can't bring myself to buy it knowing the Blu-ray features the theatrical version of the movie, as opposed to the awesome German 'ultimate Edition' which have all versions of the movie

That's not the actual artwork though (you can tell from the 'In cinemas April 18' on the front). They are using that red design for the amaray though, which gives me hope that they'll do the alternative cream-coloured version for the steel.
