I believe this is just the packaging which you buy early. You still have to additionally pay their normal price for the actual film disk on release day.

Yes but BuckNaked2k insinuated that Best Buy would release this as a Viva for $7.50 which is impossible now that Viva packaging is banned from being produced.

Yes. Obviously, BuckNaked2K has no idea what he/she is talking about, on multiple levels.

Correct. The $7.50 is just a pre-order deposit toward the disc purchase on release day (Brave, Finding Nemo, et al.).

I fully understand that Viva can no longer sell their cases in North America, but why do you think they were sued by SteelBook in the first place? SteelBook wanted to protect their patents and eliminate the competition. SteelBook is now the obvious choice to approach Best Buy to land the contract for the next wave of Disney collectible cases. If I am wrong with my logic, please explain.

Only Viva metal pack's had the $7.50 pre-order offer

Your logic is wrong because Disney gave up on steelbooks in the U.S and Canada back in 2009.

I can't wait to get this. I think it'll go down to at least 19.99 or 14.99 as stated.

Wreck is killing my wallet though. He's gotta take a break with Zavvi.

And I doubt this will ever get the SB treatment in the US. ever....

Zavvi needs to slow down a lil... like give me some breathing space.

I don't think it's going to drop since these Disney animated classics tend to be a little pricier

Yes, that makes sense... maybe they'll adjust the prices later on but i'll order it for now... not taking any chances with these.
