Its no wonder 3D is still so niche in UK
I'd like to think there's a more straight forward reason why 3D rightfully remains niche in the UK.

Would snap it up if this is the artwork -

I've always loved that poster design.

If £27.99 turns out to be the final price. Then they can stick that right up their....
Even more so if it doesn't include the 3D version

Saying that though - I'm more than willing to pay that for the Iron Man 3 steel.
Damn you Zavvi.

I'm afraid I will have to pay whatever the price is on this one. It's probably the only Disney film I have yet to own that I actually want in a steelbook.

Don't see it. Will end up being quite a standard one like the Aladdin design.

I think £27.99 is the RRP, and when it goes up it will be no more than £17.99. I ordered Aladdin for £16.60 and it might even be the same price

Zavvi know these are popular and they are not going to shoot themselves in the foot by charging such high prices, even if it would probably still sell out

It's not like they are getting as few titles as Entertainment Store get to sell

Just like the other titles that were put up too soon these are RRP prices notfinal prices.

he Rocketeer went up at £19.99 now that it's official and updated with artwork it's own to £14.99 with an RRP of £19.99.

You could probably expect these £27.99 RRP listings to be £17.99 when they actuall go live.

example:

Star Trek XI - Zavvi Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook Blu-ray
£14.99

Save: £10.00

every single blu ray listing has the save: £xx.xx

LM & JB do not thus IT IS THE RRP.

I know it's been widely established but I'm kinda driving the point home so that it no longer need be discussed, thus bumping the thread and getting everyone excited about actual news.
Good day.

I tweeted Zavvi today, asking about when we can expect the mermaid steelbook to go live for preorder. I didn't expect much of a response, and luckily I wasn't disappointed. Maybe if we all bug them we'll get some information sooner rather than later though. Here's what I got:

"I am sorry, unfortunately we are unable to provide this steel book for you as we do not have any listed on site. Thanks"

Alternatively we could just wait patiently instead of bugging staff that probably have no clue what you are talking about. Details will be revealed in good time and if it follows the pattern of last week's three titles, we will get a nice heads up on when they will be available.

any one of the covers from the US release would look fantastic as a steelbook

so i would double dip anyway if this doesn't include the 3D version
