I'm sure they will. Only a couple haven't, and those were less family friendly films (Chico & Rita, Approved for Adoption). Boy and the World didn't either, but that basically doesn't have any dialogue anyway.

Just got a mailing from SHOUT! Factory that the Ghibli films are being released on GKIDS. I was wondering if anyone knew if My Neighbor Totoro had the original English soundtrack restored on it? Amazon shows it as the girls still being voiced by the Fannings, which would argue against that. I have heard the original (Fox?) English dub is FAR preferable, but aftermarket prices for that are too high for my wallet.

that would be interesting to see if GKids gets the rights to Fox's dubb. It would be pretty nice to have OAR with that dubb since it was fullscreen when it was released.

Although I don’t have the rerelease by GKids/Shout, GKids has stated that their releases would not contained alternate dubs (unless noted in special features), as Studio Ghibli approves the dubs on its releases. Since it’s not noted on the packaging, the streamline dub is definitely not on the rerelease.

It will have the original Disney dub w/ extraneous lines and the re-scored music from the 2003 DVD, and also the revised dub with the original 1986 synthesizer music and extraneous lines removed as with the 2010 DVD and Disney BD.

Conversely, the Arrietty release won't get the UK dub as a second English audio track as some had hoped due to rights issues. As such, the only Region-A friendly release that contains it is the Japanese "North American version" BD.

Walt Disney Japan is Ghibli’s home video distributor. The Secret World of Arrietty was (and will likely still remain) Ghibli’s highest grossing North American box office run (likely due to Disney giving it a wider release than Ponyo). Which was probably why the “North American version” BD was released in Japan, with the US Kathleen Kennedy/Frank Marshall produced dub in higher audio quality than the UK dub.
