Why would you expect anything else?

Even games that were less than 7GB (read: almost all multiplatform games this past generation) were still on PS3 Blu-rays. It's more consistent, and the Blu-ray discs are simply tougher than DVDs are.

There is absolutely zero reason to publish console games in the next generation on anything but Blu-ray for physical media. Even the Wii U uses a Blu-ray variant.

"Following a backlash in the Xbox community, Microsoft is making changes to a system that would have required the forthcoming Xbox One be connected to the Internet regularly to play games, and prevented the use of borrowed or used game discs."

The Blu ray drives in the PS4 & XBox one maybe BDXL drives

Or the games are compressed on the disc because both require the game be played from the HDD. And what about multi-disc games like the 360?
