Will Deadpool be in this? That's the question.

Geez, you can tell how much James Woods loves Hades when he learned to speak Japanese just to voice him.

What would you say are the chances of getting the actual voice actors for Toy Story?
I say 0%

Square is not going to bring a dump truck of money to Tom Hank's house. It would be nice if they got as many of the minor characters as they could though.

Hard to say. I imagine it will be determined by their contracts with Disney/Pixar for Toy Story 4.

Yeah, I'd say that's a major factor. Not likely, but they're already in the booth, so I wouldn't rule it out.

So, like, I wonder if I'd be able to follow this if I were to play this without playing most of what has come since the original game. I really liked the original, and I played maybe half of KHII, which I didn't find nearly as engaging, due to the story that I don't recall making all too much sense to me. And my impression is that the series as a whole has just grown more convoluted since then.

I'm really liking the footage I've been seeing, but I'm wondering if I'd be able to follow what's going on and if I'd actually find it fun and engaging at all.

Story wise, you’ll be completely lost. There is too much in the lore now to jump in from KH1

I gather there'll be a plot summary that comes with KH3, but y'might want to consider picking up the remaster compilations of the previous games first. If I know Sqeenix, there's still plenty of time before 3 is ready.

There's a YouTube video out there that clocks in at almost an hour trying to lay out and explain the story. The games weren't released in chronological order for starters, and in order to make sense of it all, you'd have to play all the games on the various platforms and try to figure it out.

Anyway, here's the YouTube link:

Alexa Ray Corriea (author of the Kingdom Hearts II Boss Fight Book) actually nails a relatively quick summary of the series in this video starting 1 hr and 5 mins in:

A little bit of a bummer that they're not hitting the 2018 window like they said before, but I was honestly not expecting it to be out til December anyway so it's not much of a delay in my mind haha. I'm just glad we finally have a date to look forward to

Technically, it's still fiscal year 2018 which is what that announcement was about...not that that means much to a kid that wanted to find it under their Christmas tree.
