Well, thanks for nothing guys.
I bought the discs myself and I'm happy to report that they not only used the corrected 5.1 track for CONAN THE BARBARIAN, they also added the original Mono track.
It seems the disc only has an english menu. Even when I went to the setup of my Sony BD-Player and switched BD-Menu-language to "french" I could only access an english menu. So I guess the disc only contains the uncut extended version.

However I should point out that I only checked the sound in the village attack scene and I did not look for any missing horse falls or anything like that. I have no time for that right now.
So don't ask for your money back from me if there is STILL something wrong with the disc...hahaha.

I found out that this disc is authored like the first UK-Blu-ray. It shows a cut or an uncut version depending on your region-setting and menu-language.

To watch the UNCUT version you have two possibilities:

a) watch it with a region-A player or a codefree-player switched to region A
B) if you watch it with a region-B-player go to the player-setup and switch the menu language to french.

You can check which version the player has selected in the chapter menu where the length of the movie is shown.
The cut version is 2:10:10, the uncut version is 2:10:31

Well, even if someone would like to buy it from there, the sellers don't ship outside of France.

I was totally stupid for not buying this earlier.
I hadn't noticed that it's limited and it would go OOP soon!

I am given to understand that it goes in and out of print from time to time and that instead of paying scalper prices you should just wait a bit for it to come back in stock.
