By Part 2, you mean the second film and not the second disc included with the third film, yes?

Aw, this topic being bumped REALLY got my hopes up for some news. I had to resort to picking up the 4-film collection on Blu-ray last week because I was getting really impatient for Scream Factory or some other label to put them out!

There is still hope for more films, although it sounds both promising and not promising all at once. Not sure how I feel about a reboot, seems to me there's plenty more stories to tell in the original universe.

I already have the 4 Film Favorites collection, and Part 5 standalone. I'd buy this if it was UHD.

EDIT: You know what? This will make a great present for a young horror fan cousin. I will buy it.

These will just be the original single releases so all those extras will be ported, minus any from the DVDs that never made it to HD, including the Choose Your Own Death alternate takes for certain kills in Part 3.

one thing I hope is that if a 4K or a remastered BD does come out of these movies, that 2 would have the two missing garbage disposal shots restored

I ended up acquiring the screener DVD and restored the missing shots to this scene myself using that source, I know the quality degrades significantly but it's literally the best we got

the scene actually does play a bit better with those shots intact

the shots occur at 1:24 and 1:40

last night I watched FD2, and man, was that fun, loved it. these movies are crazy fun, exactly what people pretend Scream movies are but aren't.

The transfer wasn't great, Id love to have these in a nice 4k boxset
