That is very interesting about Rules of Engagment not having a blu ray release. It has a bd option from that list of eligible titles to D2D.

That was an error from when Vudu first started Disc To Digital that they've never gotten around to fixing. When they first started everything had a DVD and BD option regardless if it actually had a BD release (Death Becomes Her and Hedwig and the Angry Inch are a couple more). There's probably hundreds of them on there. Newer additions to the program no longer have the dual options. In fact some like Blue Lagoon & Steel Magnolias (not part of the original D2D list) that have since gotten BD releases still only show DVD options.

Yeah, me too, but at least Who Am I? is available for D2D, even if it's SD only. My 15 (or so) year old DVD is not in good shape...

I've tried repeatedly to do Who Am I? D2D to no avail. I should find out if my local Walmart still does D2D in house and try there. Also, I never thought about trying First Strike on another service to see if there were an HD version, only Vudu. I have a Lethal Weapon SD bundle that plays in HD on Flixster and Cinemanow I believe.

I've done only one D2D conversion yet (thanks to free credit from Vudu), but it's a good one!

Dragonslayer - available in HDX

I did also notice another favorite: L.A. Story, also available in HDX

I would love to see First Strike (aka Police Story 4, if I remember right) available in HD but I'd prefer an original uncut subtitled version rather than the dubbed US version. It never got a decent DVD release so I'm not going to hold my breath. Most other Jackie Chan movies got decent-quality region-free DVD Chinese releases.

Has anyone done any of the Marx Brothers conversions? Duck Soup, Day at the Races, and Night at the Opera are available in HDX, but I wonder if the quality bump is worth it.
