If you can find the 60 gb, go for it. Though 80 gb, instead of 40.

Default 20% off at Kmart

Whatever you decide, don't forget to use the 20% off coupon at Kmart. Got my 2nd PS3 today for $319.

Go for the 60 if you can find it, just to be safe (in terms of storage, who knows, you might end up using the hard disk a lot). Otherwise if you don't want the PS3 to play games mostly just movies, go with the 40GB.

You can always upgrade the hard drives at a later date in either model. 200GB anyone?

That's exactly right....don't base your decision on HD space. That's easily upgradeable on any of the models.

You need to decide whether you want backwards PS2 game compatibility, extra USB ports, and flash drive readers.........if you just want to play PS3 games and/or watch blu-ray movies, save the $100 and go for the 40GB.

Default Kmart

Wow, so can we use a downloaded coupon or do we have to go in the store and get one from the coupon stand??

Thanks for the tip.

Ciao.

I wasn't aware the 80gb has the BC Hardware removed. So its just software based. Thats a shame, but as mentioned from most forums i have read, that most people will be playing next gen gaming/movies.

I believe the 80 gig still uses some hardware components mixed in with software emulation.
