I was wondering the same thing about madlost1's list. He pre-ordered 6 games... only 2 of which actually come out at launch and 3 of which don't even have an announced release window yet. Who knows when those games will even be released?

Personally I just like to order so I don't forget about it. I know that may sound weird but it's nice to already have an order placed and have it shipped for release day then completely forget the game exists until I see a commercial the day before and have to wait a few days to get the game. Not to mention that if in the event however unlikely Amazon screws up the price on the item and it is dropped by say $10 and then put right back up to regular price I now have the lower price locked in due to their pre-order price protection. Also if I don't want the game anymore or don't have the funds I can easily cancel the title before release. One more thing I do is I use Amazon's dates to plan out my future budget so when they do get release dates it's already in my history and I can just throw it in there and make things easier for myself. I do the same thing with Blus.

If you can pull it off, more power to you, but I will not pre-order a game without an exact release date.

Those of you that have preordered Ryse. You MAY want to hold off until reviews come out.

There have been a lot of behind the scenes rumblings that it is NOT going to be very good.

Just something to think about.

To be honest it really didn't look that good from the E3 footage but I need another excuse to buy the One on release day other then Dead Rising 3. To be brutally honest the only reason I'm picking up a One is for Dead Rising and Titanfall.

Derb you may want to remove Kinect Sports: Rivals from the list of launch titles in the first post. It was pushed to 2014.

November 8th is the latest release date rumour. At least thats the date Wallmart are expeting it to release on, note that it's not confirmed unlike all their other midnight launches.

Just saw this on a tweet from Gamespot...I didnt think there was a chance of launching before Sony...should be interesting

I had a feeling when I saw Sony's release date that Xbox was GOING to launch first, even if they only had 1 console per store to ship.

Having said that you'll notice that it is the only one not listed as "Confirmed". Would seem to imply it's a guess, and not a fact at this point.
