Does anyone remember the 2disc ltd ed dvd with lenticular cover. I still have this. I'm real satisfied with it. It has both the tv version and the cinemas version.

I decided to get a pre-order in now so I don't miss out, I don't know how limited this run is, can always cancel later if the art is rubbish.

The Mock up of the steelbook is the same as http://www.amazon.co.uk/Halloween-Bl...ords=halloween. Without all the writing. So theres a good chance it will look like this.

I actually hope they leave the 35th anniversary bit off the steelbook itself.

Put it on the J-card by all means, but leave the steelbook as clean as possible. Besides, it ages the film and will be out of date within a year anyway. 50th and 100th dating isn't so bad as it's much more of a milestone.

Probably just a dvd copy. I can't imagine it being exclusive material...although that would certainly make it interesting if the steelbook has the same crappy art as the digibook.

I have this version as well but I will be getting this along with the U.S Digibook. Love the Halloween series, excluding the two (2) remakes/reboots.

Man, would I love to have a Halloween steelbook. Wish the US release had a steelbook too. I'll be interested in seeing the art for this.

If this has that awful 35th anniversary artwork, then I'll pass.
Classic poster all the way!

I tend to favour alternative artwork and even I am hoping for the original cover

I think it will not ship until Dec though, if items are grouped together. IIRC I had to change the delivery preference to make them ship separately a few years ago.

That's fine with me. I'm in no rush for the Halloween steelbook, it will take 2nd place next to the Halloween digibook anyway.
That is all IF it's got passable artwork. If it just recycles the digibook's artwork, I'll probably cancel that faster than a hot knife through butter!
