I've started complaining every time now and they keep giving me a month's free extension to my prime membership.

Admittedly, for this release I'm not 'desperate' for it on release day as I still have a few other episodes to finish from season 4... but it's the principle: I've paid for release day arrival.

First time this has happened for me, and not to fussed really...but as the person above said its the principal. Oh well

I paid for First Class and it was sent Saturday, Prime doesn't seem worth it lol

Ive run into the same thing on a couple of my orders stateside when Amazon ships by USPS or smaller carriers....guaranteed release delivery turns into day after. Its only been literally two occasions but I did pay $80 for Prime for release day delivery, so it is frustrating. Like you, my membership was extended by a month so thats something, but its still frustrating. I mentioned to support to use only UPS as they are perfect, but no response to that

Got home to find my copy of Unification has arrived too



For those that care the spine layout for Season 5 has changed yet again, the Irish rating logo is back and the 'Season Five' text is back to how it was laid out on Seasons 1 and 2 but oddly this layout change is only apparent on the slip, the artwork round the case is in the same style as Season 3.

Oh well the collection is still coming along nicely...

Sadly I didn't get a slip with season 1 - but I ordered mine after they recalled them to fix the audio bugs, so I guess they didn't ship them with slips after that.

Have to say, in a sense I hope Amazon manage to faff up one-day delivery exactly 12 times a year. Then I need never pay for Amazon Prime again!

They did ship the fixed sets with slips, it was even altered to have the starfleet delta symbol on the spine so you knew it was a fixed set, the original release didn't have the symbol on the spine or on the discs.

I ordered my season 1 when they had that promotion for £32 or something and i didn't get a slip for season 1 either

Hmm, that's a shame - mine showed up a day late yesterday so they are getting through. Maybe Royal Mail are just having a lot of delivery problems at the moment. Or Amazon can't get them out the door fast enough! We are getting closer to Christmas after all.

Give it till Thursday then you can chase them for a replacement if it still hasn't shown up.
