It will be nice to have all my Twilight films in one neat little box.

Though you might want to change the date in the title... The article states November 5th (11/5) is when it will be coming out.

I don't know what happened with Twilight... when I first saw the first movie, I hated it. But then I tried out New Moon, for the sake of laughing at its crappiness, and I fell in love. The rest is history. I adore the Twilight saga, both the books and films. The movies are not well-made at all, but they still mean a lot to me.

And Alice Cullen... She's my hero:

she can bite me , i'll spend forever with her

Timed to celebrate the fifth anniversary of The Twilight Saga’s original theatrical debut, fans are invited to relive the immortal love story with Twilight Forever: The Complete Saga, available as a 10-disc Blu-ray (plus Digital HD UltraViolet) set and as a 12-disc DVD (plus Digital UltraViolet) set debuting November 5, 2013 from Summit Entertainment, a Lionsgate company.

Whether Team Edward or Team Jacob, the passion of Twilight fans hasn’t dissipated with the final film, continuing through fan fiction, pop culture and the constant engagement of over 166 million fans in Twilight’s online network. Twilight Forever: The Complete Saga encompasses all five films, over 2 hours of brand new exclusive content and over 10 hours of every special feature ever created for the multi-billion dollar franchise.

The all-new material featured in this complete collection includes a cast retrospective with new interviews; “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Character” which showcases previously unreleased behind-the-scenes moments on set; an exploration of the epic’s “Twilight FAN-omenon” and individually highlights Edward and Jacob’s stories in “Twilight Forever: Edward’s Saga” and “Twilight Forever: Jacob’s Saga.” These new features will be available alongside the over 10 hours of bonus material released via previous home entertainment editions that includes multi-part “making of” documentaries, behind-the-scenes featurettes, cast and crew interviews, deleted and extended scenes, photo galleries, red carpet footage, music videos and more.
The deluxe packaging arrives in a double-sided box that highlights beloved characters, one side featuring Edward and Bella and the other side featuring Jacob; and the discs are held in a commemorative photo album highlighting some the most iconic moments from the entire saga.

Twilight Forever: The Complete Saga debuts as a 10-disc Blu-ray set for the suggested retail price of $74.99, and a 12-disc DVD set for $64.98.

This is the set I wanted all along. However I did not wait and bought them all before hand. I guess I will have to double dip. What to do with my old ones. I already bought the others for my daughter also so I can not give them to her.

While I knew this would be coming I still bought the first three anyways. Picked them up for $3 a piece. I'll hold out for price drops on BD 1/2 also.

Always nice to take your time to come into a thread about something you don't like

I don't like them either. They'll just stick out on the shelf.

+1

I posted something similar to this in the announcement comments. I don't see why people waste their time coming into a thread just to say that it sucks. Have nothing else to do with your time?

Concerning this set...I may have to bite.

While I get why you said your comment to poster #1 it's funny that you completely negate that poster #2 ALSO says something negative.

Everyone is sooo touchy.

Twas a joke. Don't take everything so seriously.

I loved Spring Breakers, but I'm not complaining that every other post there is a serious knock about the film and the people who liked it.

I don't like Twilight, but you do. Works for me. I was playing off of his post in a jovial manner.

But that poster, while a negative comment about the boxset, still likes these movies

Again, it was a joke. No need to damn my name over a playful ribbing.

A better title for this box set would've been Twilight Forevz

IS this the set everyones been waiting on though? When the extended BDP1 came out everyone expected them to push out a box set with all the movies extended or at least with more deleted scenes. There's none of that here, it's all the same content we had plus a new disc of extra waffle, a big huge chunk of which is once again taken up by those stupid Edward/Jake recap things, which are on the movie discs anyway!

I'm rather curious about this as well, especially as it relates to the final Breaking Dawn Part 2 movie. I'm no major Twilight fan, but figured I'd add the set to my collection at some point, just due to it's popularity, but from everything I've read here and elsewhere, I was under the impression there'd definitely be an Extended Edition of the final movie, just like they put out for BD Part 1. That's why I held off on picking up the prior boxset - because I figured it'd be "incomplete"/superceded as soon as the BD2 was issued in an Extended Edition...

Was I completely misinformed on that? Was that just a hopeful and hyped up fan rumor? If that's indeed the case, I might just nab the prior boxset if it's running cheaper than this new one. Anyone know where things stand on BD2, and if I should wait, or just get on with picking these up finally?
