That's great that it's coming in February. Hopefully I'll have assassin's creed finished by then. Beginning of 2014 should be great with thief, infamous, and drive club.

This game has been in development since 2009 and has been started over once already, so i'm ferfently hoping that Eidos Montreal do justice to the trilogy before it. Thief Deadly Shadows ranks as probably the finest Stealth game ever made, bar none. And because this new game isn't ignoring the entries in the series, anyone interested in the new title should buy a copy from gog.com to get themselves prepared for it!

I loved Thief: Deadly Shadows, but the framrate on the consoles was kind of bad. This is THE game that will get me to buy a PS4.

I'm playing The Gog.com version of Thief Deadly Shadows on a HP laptop and with it combined with John P's high-res texture pack, TDS has never looked as good and runs super-smooth as well. Zero problems with it.

Got the new Thief game pre-ordered to get the Bank Heist mission as bonus! Combine that with Driveclub in february and it's looking good!

I was at the store today and was reading a little about this game in a magazine. It sounds really fun. I'm seriously thinking about skipping Tomb Raider and going with this game in February.

Though with DriveClub releasing in the same month it will be difficult for me to play them both. I've still only played one of the three games I got for the PS4 launch...

Yeah, the graphics looks very detailed and realistic for a night setting, which I'm assuming it's always night in this game? I like the fact he uses a bow and arrow. My favorite way to get around in Skyrim.

Hey Keb, would you say this is only a FPV game (first person view)? Only reason I ask is because the character looks cool and a lot of screen shots show him standing in the scene, jumping down onto enemies, etc.
I'd love to have a 3rd person view along with a FPV choice. I'm guessing it's only FPV though?

Older article, but it helps reinforce that they may stick primarily with first person for this, much like the originals. Deadly Shadows may have had third person as an option, but I don't remember. It has always been a FPV franchise.

Thanks Keb, great information. That is nice they offer the hub as open exploration, though I bet the other linear interiors will allow for some choices also while progressing.

I've never played a Thief game since I never got into PC gaming, but I've heard great things. I love stealth games, so this should be right up my alley.

Never really played any Thief games before, but the videos for this looked cool.

Figured it'd be a title I'd wait a for a serious price drop on (new games on PS4 are £50 in the UK,) but The Game Collection is selling it for £34 so I bit.

Got this on pre-order from Game, as it means i get the legendary Bank Heist mission from Thief 2 included as well. The new game has 'Classic Mode' which means the gameplay mirrors the style of Thief 1-3 which is fantastic! Seriously looking forward to this!

Thief runs at 1080p on PS4, 900p on Xbox One. Starting to become a trend already this gen.
