I am most definitely buying this game when it comes out! I've hear it describes a "Thief" set in the Middle Ages-- a Crusade, i think (not sure) The sneak around is not the same as, say the excellennt 'Splinter Cell; series, but more in the vein of 'blendinng in'.... A title well worth the buy!

Just to give you guys a heads up, Famitsu were the first out with a review and gave it a 37/40, it's on par with COD4 in scores it has received and a title worthy of making it's way on the short list for Game of the Year

It's been described as a TRUE Next-Gen game, i ordered mine this week, i will be receiving my game in a stylish metal tin with assassins Creed art work and 4 exclusive art cards, i chose this over COD4 essentially because i wanted to play an involving single player story that will really draw me in

COD4 would have a great online mode but sometimes you want a well told epic, that will last you more than 10 hours, so im goin wiv AC & will get R&C, Uncharted, Haze & COD4 sometime down the line cause i plan on gettin a 1080p TV & because i can go only for 1, AC just ticks all the gameplay boxes for me and that's the one for me

You're full of crap...it doesn't even come out for a week...

don't listen to him.

on a side note, I'm a bit wary about this game considering you play a Muslim assassin killing Knights of the Templar...

I know its cool and all to be pro-moslem nowadays, but, I will have to see what the sci-fi twist to this game is going to be, a little skeptic about it....

I have had the PS3 collectors edition on reserve since it was first announced. I can't wait for this game.

I was just at BB and also saw what i thought was the game, but it is in fact the pre-order for it, only in a PS3 case. It easily could be thought that it was the game, until you pick it up and feel it is an empty case.

My best friend in CA emailed me this afternoon to say that he got AC in the mail from GameStop (pre-ordered). However, they sent him the wrong version.

hahahahaha

Anyway, since he got it in the mail, it's possible that someone at BB put it out early.

FFVII is for FF7, not FF13. FF13 would be FFXIII.

I believe the answer is no, which is the same answer for Assassin's Creed online question. No Assassin’s Creed will not have online play. It's single player only.

First off, its 'MUSLIM', second, DON'T bring religious matters into this. The games story hasn't been fully revealed & nor do i think they said wether the lead character WAS in fact muslim, as for the pro-muslim comment, i do think people should adopt a more healthy attitue of researching factual answers to questions rather than using lines they see in the media to brand a whole group of people. This isn't on topic completely & if you really want to debate religious matters, it should be done in off-topic or in general discussion, to keep to topic, it should be real sweet to see how the sci-fi twist works

Can someone tell me a little about this?

I do have a PS3 but I only play sports games on it, never played a title like this.

I do play games on the PC as I have WoW, CoD, BF2 and BF2142, etc.

What gameplay would this be like?

thanks!

Hi, to answer your question, it is a 3rd person action/adventure game with elements of 'social stealth', this is unique & only currently used on this title, you are free to carry out missions any way you see fit like the sandbox style of the GTA games

'social stealth' is essentialy where in this case you use the crowds to blend in & remain invisible, to create distractions or orchestrae your escape after you carry out you objective but can only work with select group, for which you must first earn their help by performing their required errands.

This game has a sci-fi twist despite being set in middle east 1911AD which possibly open the future of the franchise the possibility to take place in more modern times

hope that helped

That sounds good, much like the "Hassassins" which I'm sure it's based on.
