I am sure I can beat you all. I have the complete TOS on laserdisc.

But back on topic as much as I hate to say this it is a great move on Toshibas part. You might think there are not many people out there that like TOS they are there and they have money.

(Sorry if I offended any Star Trek fans, but FFS, the show is older than dirt)

Will be 44 soon. Not really a boi anymore, but in my mind I'm still 18.

I do like the Star Trek movies (I have all of them on dvd) and I do like Enterprise, but that original series I could never get into. Sort of like the original Dr. Who series. I do like Torchwood and the new Dr. Who though.

In our wives' and girlfriends minds we're still 18....lol....I still think think I'm 26....at 18 I was still naive.

If you watch the old TOS you'll see how cheesy it is compared to the new stuff. Apparently what they've done to the scenes that have those matte paintings and shots of the ship has really modernized it.

Can't be any worse than the old Dr. Who series. I remember as a kid watching these in the UK and laughing at the props they had. Rubbish can with a toilet plunger stuck to it and other nonsense. But it was good at the time.

Part of the allure were those lousy sets and props.
And of course there's Tom Baker.

>>Virgin/Toshiba to Give Away Free HD DVD Players!

After the fire sale, this was inevitable.

you could be walking away with an HD DVD player from Toshiba, valued at $299!

I don't value them at $299. Even at free, they are too expensive.

Eh just a promo.

Sony should do another with the PS3 or maybe an S500. I was playing with an S500 at Magnolia. Pretty trick. If I wasn't 100% satisfied with my PS3, I could be tempted to get one.
