Blu-Ray Annimation: Worth it?

I have recently been building my Blu-ray collection, but have not purchased a single animated movie on Blu-Ray. I always thought Pixar movies looked great on my TV, so I didn't think BR would make that much of a difference.

Does anyone have experience with these animated movies to tell me if it's worth the cost? As a HUGE Simpsons fan, I am debating whether blu-ray or standard DVD should be the way to go when the movie is released.
