It means that there aren't any forced subtitles.

It means that subtitles are not automatically displayed and cannot be turned off.

Just watched this (the French 5 disc edition).

The movie was so beautiful! A moving story with intelligent script. I fell in love with it.

About the 3D: Oh boy, this is a must for all 3D fans! It's so well stereographed and there are some nice pop outs. Even that it is a quiet drama / comedy the 3D is used to the full.

I can't say it enough: This is a stunningly gorgeous 3D presentation!

Does anyone know if the German version has forced subtitles? It looks like the least expensive version to get.

I have the German version and can confirm it does not have forced subtitles.

It does have the German name of the film ("Die Karte meiner Träume") appear over the opening, if that bothers you. In fact, I keep forgetting what the English name of the film even is as it doesn't appear anywhere on the German release.

I ordered it after a recommendation here. Ordered it last month, expecting it any day now. Because of Covid 19 the only shipping option was Registered Surface Mail - 30 to 50 days. Looking forward to it!

I have the white box collectors edition and forgot till about a week ago when redoing my shelving. I will def be watching this soon since i last watched it on my old tv and not the C6. Even on my old tv the 3d looked good so curious to see how it does on my oled.

DDD House is around $16 US shipped, but only by SEA estimated 45 days

I got mine from AmazonDe during a B2G1 sale -- still pretty cheap, but no shipping to the US right now, no extra deals and it's B-locked if that's a factor.

The region Free Netherlands appears OOS at all the usual sites

The AUS version i think is long OOP

Picked this up from DDD House back in March and just got around to watching it. WOW!! What a great movie and exquisite use of 3d. Interestimg story though very quirky a la a Wes Anderson film. The framing of numerous shots with 3d in mind is just so intriguing. One that keeps coming to mind is the mothers collection of mounted bugs. Definitely one of the best live action, non-heavy CGI 3d movies Ive ever seen. Agree with Tonppa above that this is an absolute must have for any lover of quality 3d movies!!

So I got my TS Spivet. All the way from Wuhan, China. Just kiddin'. My concern is when I select to add to my collection, because it is in Chinese character, it puts in the end of my list alphabetically. In an attempt to resolve, I chose the Australian version BUT still went to the end of my list. So I guess this site has a sort default primarily by country. Anyways, my collection is now:

Wuhan, China is partying hard. Doubt you'd have to worry about anything shipping from there (not in a sane world anyway). What's with the infatuation with your collection count?

Just you wait. Give me this end of next decade and watch my count go up to 84.
