I hope Paramount use the same artwork as the DVD.

Would it be a bold statement to say it's Harrison Ford's best film? Just my opinion, great film and glad it's finally getting a release!

In my opinion it's his best outside of the Star Wars and Indiana Jones series, the fugitive would be a close 2nd for me.

That's not a bold statement at all, imho. I've always enjoyed RotLA more than this and I think it's a close call with tESB.

Amazon UK now reporting April 7th 2014 release. I noticed that there is a similar date for the French release. Still nothing for our American brethren.

Personally, I'd prefer the original theatrical poster:

Obviously without the splash text.

A great film and easily one of Ford's best performances, but knowing Paramount it will be the old DVD master with some DNR thrown at it.

Is there an email address for Paramount HE in the UK? When I went looking, the only thing I could find was a PR company's email details but not Paramount themselves.

According to BVA, this has been pulled from schedule and Amazon have removed the price and release date.

Eureka should release it instead. An underrated gem, probably Harrison Ford's best film.

For those who are interested in importing this, amazon.fr is selling the br for 15 Euro.

http://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B00G...A1X6FK5RDHNB96

My copy arrived today and I watched the first half-hour and then compared the pq with other 80's Paramount titles that I own. I put this on par with 48 Hours and Beverly Hills Cop. It has moderate to heavy grain at times with descent to good detail. The aq is serviceable but the Dolby TrueHD track gives more body to the score.

This is actually exactly what I was expecting from this release, a good catalog title that Paramount didn't bother to remaster.... I wasn't expecting miracles. There are no extras but overall I am happy with the upgrade and I'll gift my dvd to my brother.

This is also getting releases in Germany and Italy in the coming weeks. I imagine that the disc would be the same for all international releases as the menu opens up with multiple language options.
