Have any Ghibli movies been released on BD in Japan yet?

Assuming BD wins the war (and assuming John Lasseter doesn't get hit by a bus) I think we'll see Studio Ghibli on BD eventually.

According to Anime On DVD http://www.animeondvd.com/ only one Ghibli film has been released on blu to-date, Iblard Jikan, reased by Buena Vista Home Entertainment Japan.

This is a 30 minute OAV with a series of painted scenes with music. Chris Beveridge's review is here...

Chris gave it good marks and I've been thinking of importing it myself.

I'd (or more correctly, my wife) would like to see Totoro on blu-ray. She's got a whole room in our house dedicated to Totoro. It'll eventually be our kids room. :-)

Cat Returns
Spirited Away
Nausicaa
Howl's Moving Castle

yes, you read my mind. Miyazaki on BD would be sweet, especially if it was released in a huge collection of all his films.

Currently Emotion (BanDai) is the only anime distributor in Japan releasing anime on blu-ray. There have been no announcements for Miyazaki films on blu-ray in either Japan or US. Miyazaki on blu-ray is like Star Wars on blu-ray.
