Welcome Sony 1569. I agree with your post completely. And I believe that pedigree was just funning a little with you. He must be feeling frisky because the Canadian dollar is owning the American dollar now and he can come down into the American internet sites and get some really fantastic buys on the sales going on recently ...and continuing.

Hey, what about us who get paid in Euros? We get both the 50% off from the currency market, and the BOGO on top.

Well, of course, you could capitalize sentences correctly.

There's a saying about a plank in your own eye.....

Sadly, he was able to make it to the punchline over the past few days before being banned. I hope at this point they've erased the thread altogether {edit: I looked for it, it's gone, thankfully}, but we need to be on the lookout for this latest "tactic" to dis' Blu-ray.
Yeah, I fell for it too. Little tw*t. Hope his Toshiba goes tits up on him and his copy of Best of Billy Buttbanger gets stuck inside it. Try explaining that one when it goes in for repair. But it does go to show you that since he had so much free time on his hands, he couldn't have had much interesting on HD-DUD to watch.

All these "douche" comments on here. I'm waiting for someone to register as "Massengill" one day.

LMAO!!! Ya, I wasn't going to call you out, but you did fall for it, hook-line-and-sinker. But hey, your advice was spot-on, and all the way to the punchline you were handling the conversation like a champ. I'm sure you're quite happy that they eradicated the thread altogether...

Doesn't really bother me one way or another. Quite possibly it helped someone else who didn't post and had a problem with their firmware. Him being an idiot will never stop me from trying to help someone out. But either way, I still believe that Karma is a real *****. It will come back to him.

And I just need to add to that: This is why I don't resort to the name-calling while the person is still a member. I reported him early Saturday, but just watched otherwise. I didn't want to turn it into another troll-bashing argument, and in the end all he could do was finish his story and move on. In the meantime, if any other new members were watching, they just see someone getting the help they need without being attacked for asking questions that may "appear" to be questionable. There wasn't a single negative comment from our members, and I think in the end it really deflated his ego that he wasn't called out even once...

Very true. And on that note, I'm off to watch Dexter. Good night all.

Well, props to you for taking the high road and being a model member. You're merit badge is in the mail! Seriously, though, I was impressed at how you were handling it.
