Oh and Shatta... your signature... the future is Ultra Violet Ray! Pioneer are already developing it for the next gen because the laser's light has an even narrower bandwidth so discs can hold more data... i.e. 2160P video. But I think we've got a few years wait for that.

Does this mean you'll need to wear sunblock when playing your Playstation 4

I can't count the times I dropped my PS1 (taking it to friends houses back when I was a teenager)

I had had it chipped and I even changed its casing for a clear black one when I was on holiday (16y.o), but I snapped the CD drive connector. Panicking before my parents got back to discover what I had done I ran to the shop on the site and bought the only things I could find to fix it with... drinking straws and plasters.

I never expected this to work but...

I folded up straws and stuck them in place with the plasters and when I screwed the casing back together it held the connector firmly in place. Amazingly the console didn't catch fire and worked perfectly this way for about two further years (despite me continuing to drop it). Eventually though, it gave up. I took it apart once more and saw the one of the plasters had slipped, so this time I took a soldering iron to it. Now my PS1 is proudly on display in its black casing on my side... STILL WORKING but retired.

That machine is a legend! Lets all have 10 seconds silence to worship my hardcore PS1!!

That's great Ta!

Now why can't they make mobile phones that last longer than a year before self destructing in unique and novel ways?

I thought my PS2 was on fire once. I was playing in the dark and noticed an orange light flickering from inside my PS2... "Thats not normal" I thought. So I switched it off unplugged it, checked it over. Everything seemed fine. I plugged it all back in, started playing and again... and orange light. Why hadn't I noticed it before. I got my mate to play the same game at his house... no orange light.

After taking it to pieces and running the game I learned that there was actually an orange light on the motherboard. Why could I see it? Well it has something to do with the fact my console has a network adapter screwed on. For some reason, this causes a little amber light to flicker sometimes and is visible through the vent on the front of the console. When I took my net adapter off and played, the flickering didn't occur.

Yeah yeah, any excuse to take my stuff to pieces (albeit when the warranty has expired)

Someone answer me this then, if a PS3 is playing a movie in a forest, and no one is around to hear it, does it still make fan noise?

No because the PS3 wouldn't have any power in a forest (no power outlets). And before you say you had a genarator, they haven't been invented.

Yeah but what if JJxiv1215 has already updated to version 6.3492 which adds solar power, a popup wind farm and hydroelectric turbine so you can urinate on it to generate power?

And before you say to urinate on it he'd have to be there thus hearing it, he actually can't because he's having an out of body experience with a lovely pair of twins in a jacuzzi in las vegas watching pro-wrestlers smash xbox 360's with spoons because everyone knows spoons aren't sharp therefore resulting in a slow and painful death.

Yeah! Think about that!!!!

This one is very easy. Firmware 6.3492 isn't compatible with his 900gb. Solar power won't work (total eclipse), the trees block the wind (No wind-power), there isn't any water (the fish drank it all) and he is dehydrated (no piss). And to disprove your second paragraph, penguins rule and they hate wrestling. Speaking of spoons, you made me hungry and I'm going to Taco Bell.
