Ugh. Really dislike the anime style. Love Japan though. Must get back at some point.

Are these the second set of those Marvel Animated films? Like the first set were the ones from Ultimate Avengers to Thor: Tales of Asgard (8 films). Are they made by different people?

That cover is really off-putting... I can't put my finger on exactly what the reason is for that, but something about it makes me want to cough up hairballs all over the place!

I was initially intrigued. Not sure on the Anime style. Maybe I will Redbox this to test it out.

That's quite a loaded special features set. I think Breaking Bad: The Complete Series has a formidable enemy in that sense! Whew!

Look at all those features.

Seen the cover for this on Google images while searching for upcoming Marvel animated films. Glad I watched a trailer before pre-ordering it though because I loathe Anime style animation, the cover is misleading.

Just watch the trailer for the first time (and Tyrone Magnus' reaction video which was worth a laugh).

The animation looks top notch as well as the scene clips put up from Sony. I just hope the story matches the animation because Rise of Technovore was weak as hell. The other Madhouse produced series haven't impressed me either due to some weak storytelling and some really weak animation. So this new movie looks so far to be a step up from the anime influenced Marvel Films already released.

Warner/DC is still tops though when it comes to the animation film and tv dept. This flick won't change that unfortunately. If Marvel could just a have central animation dept wih a solid core group (like Timm and associates) then Marvel may just match DC/Warner in animation.

The cool thing about it all is Marvel does continue to try and that's so much better than what we got in years past.

I'll take anime, over that Iron Man/Hulk Heroes United crap, any day of the week. I hate to bash movies, but that was just terrible in every way.
Technovore, while weak on story, at least had fantastic visuals. I wish Marvel would release their whole "Marvel Anime" line that's been on dvd for years.

IGN gave this movie a 8/10. Supposedly surprisingly good compared to previous Anime style series.

I'm not sure if it's on all copies, or it's retailer-specific, but this apparently comes with $10 movie cash (or $5 concession cash) to see The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Credit to wormraper for that info

Do you think Best Buy will carry this in their stores or should I preorder from their website? I can get free shipping on this since I am elite plus...

Not a fan of how BBY ships their blu rays, so I am concerned for the damage to the slip or product while having it shipped to me...and also hoping to obtain TASM2 movie money along with this...

Been waiting for this to drop in price. Best Buy has it for $14.99 right now, and it comes with $10 in movie money to see Amazing Spiderman 2!

Really enjoyed this. Solid 8/10. But I enjoy anime/animation in general. I would say that if you are on the fence, you might like it. The action was great. I also didn't think it followed anime conventions at all. But that's just my opinion.

I bought this on Vudu because it was on sale. Looks good more like proper Japanimation. However substance wise its just flat. Perhaps the Physical versions has some extras to add more value into the package. If you do not buy this nothing in your life will change. Save your money and wait but I would just avoid buying. It is just going to make you mad you wasted your time and money. (Again on Marvel Animation)
